A Multimedia Narrative set in the Stars
In the place between stories and dreams, the stars overhead aren't distant suns out in space but rather a globe around the earth where constellations make a map.
Among the better known constellations, such as Orion or the Big Dipper, lies a small constellation beneath Virgo in the shape of a crow. This is where our story takes place, on the thirst-cursed island of Corvus.
Nibiru Wright, better known as Nib, is a Corvid scribe way over his head. After his archeologist grandfather goes missing on an expedition, he sets out determined to find him. Along the way he learns about what his grandfather was searching for, a powerful artifact with a dark history with Corvus, and the ravenous group scouring the island for it.
It's up to Nib to save not only his grandfather, but his home.
Interactive Fiction
As an experiment, I decided to explore the medium of the story by learning the game-making software Godot in late 2024 to test an interactive format and create a small level with dialogue, puzzles, and secrets to discover.
